Providore Margaret River has filled a gap for visitors and locals who enjoy meeting for lunch with a cheeky glass of wine in a stunning setting without breaking the bank.
This week Providore launches the first in a series of creative wine and food pairings to enjoy on their stylish outdoor terrace. Rosé and Roll combines a glass of award-winning Coward & Black Lady Margo Rosé and choice of WA classic continental roll or a free-range chicken and salad baguette for just $20.
Owners Patrick Coward and Martin Black have refurnished Providore’s outdoor space, enhancing the relaxed dining terrace to create a laid-back vibe, perfect to drop in for lunch with a glass of their Coward & Black wine.
Patrick said while people knew and loved Providore for its delicious house-made jams, relishes, chutneys and sauces, he wanted to encourage visitors out into the venue’s stunning gardens to enjoy the views over the Chardonnay vines.
“In Margaret River we’re spoilt for choice for world-class fine dining, but it can get a bit pricey so we wanted to create a lunch experience that still delivers the full Margaret River experience - beautifully relaxing, overlooking the vines, and tasting wines that are grown on the property but without the hefty price tag,” he said.
“Our $20 Rosé and Roll lunch will suit visitors busy touring the region, people wanting a simple delicious lunch with a glass of Margaret River wine, and locals looking for a place to meet with friends or colleagues mid-region.
“We believe we’ve discovered the perfect lunch pairing with the strong Mediterranean flavours of a classic ‘conti’ roll and our stunningly delicious Provence-style rosé.
Rosé and Roll is available daily from 11am.
